We’re Headed to the 2019 Christian Product Expo
Randy and I are headed to the 2019 Christian Product Expo International in Murfreesboro, TN. 
For those who don’t know, CPE (Christian Product Expo) is a meeting of retailers, publishers and manufacturers, authors, and media in the Christian Product industry. It runs for 3 days, this year August 25th through August 27th, and includes lots of opportunities for the various parts of the industry to interact with each other.
The showroom floor is always the main focus of this kind of gathering. Publishers and manufacturers show off their new and best-selling products and stores decide what you’ll be seeing on their shelves, sometimes months in advance. There will be over 100 vendors attending this year.

CPE also has two different opportunities for everyone to meet various authors, a personality party on Sunday and a meet and greet on Monday. There will be training for bookstore managers on Sunday and training for authors on Monday and Tuesday. There are also several events that allow all the various parts of the industry to meet and mingle; events like lunches, dinners, and group devotional meetings.
We’ll be there for 2 days. We’ll drive over this morning and we’ve got interviews scheduled today. Then tomorrow we’ll be walking the show floor. We’ll have opportunities to talk with those we already know, meet new people, and hopefully get lots of photos and information to share with all of you before we come home Tuesday evening.
I love my new tote bag that I’ll be carrying our photography equipment in (and any review copies we get to bring home with us.)
Updates, interviews, and other news from the show will be the majority of our content for the next week (or two) and reviews of products we receive may start as early as next week.
We have interviews lined up with Cambridge, Thomas Nelson, and a handful of authors and we’ll probably manage to fit in a few more interviews as well. You’ll want to be sure and stop by tomorrow if you’re curious about Cambridge’s new Topaz line of Bibles. They will be one of our interviews this afternoon and we’ve been promised the answers to a couple of questions which we get to share with you.
