Bible Deals October 11, 2019

Here is a list of some of the Bible Deals we found for this weekend October 11th through 13th.

We are affiliates of many (but not all) of the stores listed and this post does contain affiliate links. The use of these links does not change your price but does mean we get a small portion of the sale to support Bible Buying Guide.

Christian Book

Christian Book is running both a Closeout Sale and another Slightly Imperfect Sale. Both run through October 14th and both have a lot of good deals on Bibles, books, and gifts.

The Closeout Sale has the ESV Archaeology Study Bible, in brown natural leather with the flap and wrap-around strap on sale for  $67.99 (Randy’s review of a different cover here). This cover looks like a travel notebook you might take to a dig site. The KJV Personal Reflections Bible in rosegold imitation leather is on sale for $17.49. This is one of the few journaling Bibles we don’t own a copy of. I’ve seen it at stores and it has nice wide empty margins for writing or artwork and very white paper.

In the Slightly Imperfect Sale, they have the NLT Girls Life Application Study Bible, Glittery Grape Butterfly on sale for $11.99 (Hannah’s review here).

A slightly imperfect KJV Daily Chronological Bible, hardcover is marked down to $6.99. If you haven’t ever read the Bible in chronological order this is an inexpensive way to make it easy. We read the Bible in chronological order together as a family a couple of years ago using the NKJV version of this Bible (read about it here).

I wanted to mention that Christian Book has launched its Christmas 2019 page. It features cards, gifts, decorations, and music. There is even a Christmas Bible Collection link. Most of these items are discounted and not yet “on sale” but shopping early usually gets you the best selection.

Logos

Logos has a Teach the Text sale going on right now. This 21 Volume Commentary Set from Baker Publishing is designed with teaching and preaching about the text effectively in mind. Each volume of the set is available for $9.99 or you can get all 21 for $159.99. This Flash sale ends October 15th.

Today is the last day to enter the Logos sponsored giveaway on our site. If you haven’t already, be sure to head over to our giveaway page, and enter the drawing for an English version of Logos 8 Starter (valued at $294.99). It ends tonight at 11:45 pm Eastern standard time.

If your price isn’t exactly the same as what I’ve given (especially on collections) it might be because you already own books from that set. Logos subtracts the price of any item you already own automatically. I’m getting the prices from a computer not logged in to Logos so the price I quote should be the highest any item could be.

Accordance Software

Accordance is having a big sale in Appreciation of Those who Preach and Teach. This sale features a lot of commentaries and study packages and I think they are changing the selection slightly each week this month.

They also have clergy gift cards on sale 25% off through October 16th. Gift Cards come in increments of $50, $100, $200, or $500. The recipient must have a current Full-time Ministry Discount on their account to receive full face value. (They ask for the name of the organization and your position to apply). The gift cards are nonrefundable but can be redeemed for the discounted purchase price by someone without a ministry discount.

In case you missed last week’s post a couple of reminders. Church Bible Publishers has their entire stock of Signature Series Bibles 5% off for the month of October. Dayspring’s Friends & Family sale is still running until October 14th, almost everything is 25 % off if you use the coupon code FAMILY at checkout.

We welcome your feedback. If you ever want to recommend any item included in a sale we highlight or know of any other good sales on Bibles or related materials please share in the comments.
