The cover is brown Leathersoft. It has a smooth grain that looks like leather. The title is debossed on the front and the spine. It’s made like most notebooks and has a pasted liner of extra-thick paper. It’s sewn, but it is stiff out of the box, so it will need some use before it will lie flat. It has a brown extra-long 1/4-inch ribbon. The overall size is 6.3 x 9.26 x .5 inches, and it weighs 12.5 oz.

The paper is an extra-thick, 80GSM finch-type paper, and matches most other notebooks on the market. It’s bright white and the texture is great for writing with pencils, pens, markers, etc.

The TCR Sermon Notebook layout has fields on the left for your notes. These are the topics and chains taken from the TCR. It includes your title, main verses and topics, and supporting verses and topics. It also has space for additional thoughts. All of these notes help build your sermon. The right page has dotted lines for your sermon outline that’s built from your notes. You can teach or preach directly from these pages.

Introduction

In the front of the TCR Sermon Notebook are several introductions and examples. This includes an introduction to the TCRs tools. Next is a section on how to use the TCR for preaching expository, topical, and biographical sermons. Next is a section with sermon preparation tips. Last are two examples of building an expository and topical sermon using this notebook.

Index

In the back of the TCR Sermon Notebook are dotted pages to create your own index of the sermons in your notebook. You can list your sermons by name, topic, occasion, etc. This makes it easy to find your sermons quickly.
