Africa Study Bible Review

The Africa Study Bible was designed to show God’s Word through African eyes. Well I’m not African, but that didn’t stop me from enjoying this Bible. It’s an NLT produced by Tyndale, Oasis International Limited, and 10 other partners and includes work from 350 contributors to produce 2600 features to show Scripture from an African perspective. I’m reviewing ISBN: 9781496424716, printed in India. Tyndale provided this Bible free for review. I was not required to give a positive review, only an honest one. All opinions are my own. _________________________________________________________ This book is available at (includes some affiliate links) Amazon Books-A-Million Barnes &...

Merry Christmas from Bible Buying Guide

From all of us here at Bible Buying Guide (Randy, Lucinda, Hannah, Matthew, and Frances), we pray that you have wonderful Christmas and a great 2018! Merry Christmas! Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. I’m reviewing the hard cover edition, ISBN: 978-1-4627-5367-3, designed and typeset by 2K/Denmark, made in China. Holman provided this Bible free for review. I was not required to give a positive review, only an honest one. All opinions are my own. _________________________________________________________ This book is available at (includes some affiliate links)...

The Logos Mobile App’s Newest Features

The Logos mobile app is one of my favorite Bible apps. It’s free and comes with 36 resources, which makes it a great choice for reading and study on the go. It has my favorite marking features and I love being able to turn off chapter and verse numbers to create my on reader’s edition. I’ve used the app for several years and written a few tutorials for it. Faithlife has just released the largest update the mobile app has ever had. In this review I’ll take a look at the Logos mobile app’s newest features. For reference –...

Zebrite Bible Marking Kit Review

I’m a fan of Bible marking kits. They provide markers, pens, penciles, or highlighters that have already been tested on Bible paper or are specifically designed to mark in Bibles. The latest set that I’ve used is the Zebrite Bible Marking Kit. The kit comes with 4 double-ended highlighters, 1 pen, and a 6 inch ruler. It comes in a case that fits perfectly in a shirt pocket and even has a small pocket for the ruler so the flap will close over the highlighters. The packaging includes a suggested Bible color code and shows that the pen is...
