I recently had the opportunity to interview with Trevin Wax – a Bible publisher and one of the great minds behind the Holman CSB Reader’s Bible. Trevin discusses the importance of the reader’s Bible trend and provides some insights on the development of the CSB Reader’s Bible. He even gives a quick comparison of digital vs print Bibles. Here’s the complete unedited interview. Introduce yourself to our readers. My name is Trevin Wax. I currently serve as the Bible and Reference Publisher at Broadman and Holman. The pastor’s Bible had become a standard in Bible publishing. They typically provide helps and outlines for officiating events, and tools and articles concerning the duties of pastors and church leaders, providing ministers with a valuable resource to aid them in ministry. The CSB Pastor’s Bible from Holman is the newest pastor’s Bible on the market, in their recently released Christian Standard Bible translation. Holman has raised the bar with their latest edition. The interior design, layout, and typeface were designed by 2K/Denmark – some of the best Bible designers in the world. I was not required to give a positive review – only an honest review. My opinions are my own. ______________________________ Buy from...Read More

The LPUT is a staple format for Holman. It’s one they’ve perfected and I’ve reviewed several in other translations, but this one has one major difference from all the others: an edge-lined goatskin leather cover. Note – This was an advanced copy, so there could be some minor editorial changes since it went to print. ____________________________ Buy from Amazon ____________________________ Features CSB (Christian Standard Bible)...Read More
