Thomas Nelson Comfort Print NKJV Large Print Thinline Bible Review

Thomas Nelson’s Comfort Print line has now been released in the New King James Version. Like the KJV and NIV, the NKJV has its own typeface designed specifically for it by 2K/Denmark. The Comfort Print typeface is part of Thomas Nelson’s beautiful Bible initiative, with the goal of making Bibles with better materials and designs. I’m reviewing the hardcover edition, ISBN: 9780718075569, made in China. Thomas Nelson provided this Bible free for review. I was not required to give a positive review, only an honest one. All opinions are my own. _________________________________________________________ This book is available at (includes some affiliate links) Amazon Books-a-Million...

Cambridge Turquoise Review

The Cambridge Turquoise (named for the gem, like many older Cambridge editions) is a large print KJV reference edition from the 1920’s. It’s been one of the standard premium reference Bibles for many generations and is a favorite among preachers because of the large dark typeface. It includes the Translators to the Reader, a newly redesigned concordance, and colorful maps. It’s available in black, brown, or blue goatskin with a calfskin...

Crossway’s The Greek New Testament

The Greek New Testament was produced at Tyndale House, Cambridge. It was a 10 year project created under the oversight of Dr. Dirk Jongkind and Dr. Peter Williams and is a revision of a Greek New Testament from the nineteenth century by Samuel Prideaux Tregelles. They led a team of scholars to reevaluate the manuscripts in order to create this edition. They looked at everything from spelling to paragraph choices, and considered recent discoveries of the scribal habits of the earliest manuscripts. This New Testament was produced by both Cambridge and Crossway. I’m reviewing the Crossway edition, ISBN: 9781433552175. Crossway provided this Greek New...
