UPS just brought my Thomas Nelson NKJV Journal the Word Bible and I thought I’d put up a few pictures.

This is the patterned cream linen and brown imitation leather cover. The Linen is only on the portion of the front you see here and the leather wraps around the spine and is the entire back cover. Nelson is making this style of Bible in two translations, NKJV and KJV, two sizes, standard and large print, and six different covers. Besides this Imitation leather and linen there is also premium leather, bonded leather, black hardcover, and two different part floral/part solid hardcovers. Not all of these are available now but those that aren’t are coming soon.

This is the first journaling bible I’m aware of with red letter.

Every page has a 2″ x 8″ margin with 40 light lines. This looks like a nice bible for more traditional notes and journaling or for doing your own artwork in. I look forward to using it over the next few weeks.

A full review as well as a various art mediums post using this Bible and 1 (or more) step-by-step will be coming soon.
