Bible Armor is a padded sleeve from Three Sixteen Publishing designed to protect large Bibles. It’s made with water-resistant nylon and is lined with faux fur and impact foam to protect any type of cover. A smaller outer pocket is perfect for smaller items, such as books, journals, pens and pencils, small tablets, phones, and more. Both the main pocket and the outer pocket have plastic zippers to close the pockets. The handles are nylon and include extra nylon fabric wrapped around where your hand holds them. They lay to the sides when you’re not holding them, so they stay out of the way. The video above is a look at the Bible Armor with Handle – Large from 316Publishing. I test it with several Bibles to see what fits.
Bible Armor with Handle – Large Size
The exterior measurements are 12″x 8.75″ x 2.5″. It fits most Bibles, including:
LSB Giant Print Reference
LSB Inside Column Reference
LSB Large Print Wide Margin
NASB Large Print Wide Margin
I had no trouble fitting any large Bible I tried, including the Cambridge wide-margin Concord and the Schuyler wide-margin Canterbury.
Thoughts on Using Bible Armor with Handle – Large
Bible Armor with Handle – Large seems to be made well. All of the stitching is tight. The zippers are easy enough to avoid when placing or removing a Bible. Their pull tabs are thick nylon and are easy to grab and pull. The fur is soft to the touch and feels luxurious. Since it’s a sleeve, there’s no risk of damaging the liner that you can get with standard Bible covers.
I placed my Fire Max 11 tablet in the sleeve with a 1.25″ Bible and had room to spare. It does fit with the LSB Inside Column Reference, but it’s a tight fit. Overall, I found Bible Armor with Handle – Large to be highly versatile and easy to use. It’s great for just about any Bible with accessories. I recommend it for daily use and carrying on trips.
