LCBP produces a series of Bibles they call “Value Bibles”. These Bibles are their Giant Print, Hand Size Standard Text, and Hand Size Wide-Margin KJV Bibles with vinyl covers; and the prices are unbelievable- $6.00 for the Standard and Wide-Margin, and $8.00 for the Giant Print.
In order to cut costs these Bibles do not have ribbons or gilted edges, but the paper and construction are still top-notch. The fonts are bold and the paper is more opaque than most Bibles. These are text-only editions, so there are no references. These Bibles are also available in leather editions that include gilted edges, 2 ribbons, maps, and concordance (except for the wide-margin edition, which does not include the concordance).
Vinyl Wide Margin Bible Black Item # 357 $6.00
The smallest in this series is the Hand Size Wide-Margin. It has about a 7-point font, with a 1-inch margin on the outside and .75 inch margin on the inside. It’s a nice handy size. I recommend this one for those that want to use a wide-margin Bible but are afraid to start writing in a more expensive Bible. For $6.00 you can go through as many of these as you want until you feel comfortable enough to write in the $50 LCBP leather wide-margin. Or, you might rather have the handy size in leather. This way you can practice first. It would also make a nice journaling Bible. The paper is nice and doesn’t have much ghosting.

Vinyl Pew Bible Black Item # 380 $6.00
My favorite Bible of the series is the Hand Size Standard Text, which is labeled as a Pew Bible. It has around a 10-point font and is nice and bold, making it a very easy Bible to read. It’s easily one of my favorite Bibles ever. The paper shows only a very slight ghosting, which is more than acceptable. It has self-pronouncing text. This is the perfect size for holding and reading while still having a large, readable font. This Bible has become my new reading Bible.

Giant Print Vinyl Black Item # 223 $8.00
The Giant Print is the most feature-rich Bible in the series. It has a 237 page concordance and 8 maps. It even has a sewn binding. It’s about the same size as the Note-taker’s, but slightly thicker. It looks like a 12-point font, which is nice a clean. The paper is the thinnest in the series, showing the most amount of ghosting; but it is still acceptable. There are 8 pages to write on in the back.

All three Bibles in the Value Series are excellent Bibles. Although my favorite is the Hand Size Standard Text (Vinyl Pew Bible), I recommend all three. Due to their sizes and features, each Bible has its place and purpose, and for the price you can’t make a wrong choice. LCBP is able to sell these Bibles at such great prices because the workers are volunteers. Be sure to click on the offering button to add something for the volunteers.
