Here’s my review of the KJV Thompson in Kirvella
Here’s the LCBP edition.
This is an excellent price and it would be a great addition to your library.
Dear Randy:
I never did figure out why specifically LCBP gave up publishing the Thompson Chain Reference. Some one said it was something to do with the notes consulting other translations, I looked, but couldn’t see what the problem was. I have a LCBP edition, and am happy with it, it is large and heavy, and ill suited to reading while seated in an easy chair or recliner, but that was the only shortcoming I could find. The large print should make reading easier, and since it is already to large to hand hold and read without a table or desk for more than a short length of time, it makes sense to go for the large print.

Hi Don. I expect LCBP didn’t like the RV notes in the margin. I love my LCBP edition. It is a little hard to hold because it’s so floppy, but wow. It’s awesome. I’m considering getting this large print edition as my desk reference study Bible.
Dear Randy:
I agree that the Hard Bound edition would be easier to handle. Come to think of it, the fine materials and craftsmanship of the best leather bound editions of the bible are nice, but for utility the Hard Bound editions make more sense don’t they? Hard Bounds cost a lot less as well.
