Bible Deals September 6, 2019

Here is a list of some of the Bible Deals we found for this weekend September 6th through 8th.

We are affiliates of many (but not all) of the stores listed and this post does contain affiliate links. Use of these links does not change your price but does mean we get a small portion of the sale to support Bible Buying Guide.

Christian Book

Tomorrow (September 7th) is the last day of Christian Book’s Bible Mini Sale. Several Bibles are on sale up to 80% off. All the versions of the ESV Study Bible (our review here) are on sale including the hardcover for $24.99.

One of my favorite Bibles included in the sale is the HCSB Illustrator’s Notetaking Bible. (My review here.) The various covers are between $7.99 and $11.99.

Christian Book also has a Fall Clearance Sale going on now through September 9th. A wide selection of Bibles, books, DVDs, music, and Kid’s products are on sale. The ESV Reader’s Bible, 6-Volume Softcover Set in Slipcase is back on sale for $34.99 (our review of the cowhide version here) and several covers for the ESV Single Column Journaling Bible (our review here) are on sale for between $15.99 and $36.99

Dayspring

No Bibles on sale but Dayspring is having a great Buy One Get One Free Sale on some of their books. Use the coupon code BOOKSHARE in your cart. 64 different books are included that you can mix and match with them discounting a matching price book automatically and not just the lowest priced books in your cart. Shana Noel’s 10 Ways to Fall in Love With Your Bible (my review here) is included along with several other journaling books, devotionals, inspirational books, and kid’s books. Most of these would make great gifts. I’m getting a copy of  The Devotional Doodle Journal (which I’ll probably review eventually) and a few other things and I noticed that The Jesus Dare, that I’ll be reviewing later this month, is included in the sale.

Logos

The free book of the month at Logos (and it’s related discount books) feature the Zondervan Exegetical Commentary on the New Testament. The commentary on the book of James is the free book this month and you can get the commentary on Colossians and Philemon for $1.99 and the commentary on 1, 2, and 3 John for only $4.99 as part of the monthly deal.

The monthly sales page includes several books, commentaries, and courses. Among them is the Preaching: Foundational Certificate Program Course on sale for $599.99 (36% off) and the Matthew and Mark book of the Cornerstone Biblical Commentary on sale for $26.99 (27% off).

You might want to spend a little time looking around the site. Randy found the Zondervan Pastoral Ministry Collection, 17 book set for $206.99 (40% off).

If your price isn’t exactly the same as what I’ve given (especially on collections) it might be because you already own books from that set. Logos subtracts the price of any item you already own automatically. I’m getting the prices from a computer not logged in to Logos so the price I quote should be the highest any item could be.

Answers in Genesis

The September Deals at Answers in Genesis started this week. Answers in Genesis sells a wide selection of science books and DVDs from a Biblical perspective. A bundle of 3 DVDs from The Heavens Declare series is on sale for $39.99. (Randy’s review of one of the DVDs here) Glass House, currently on sale for $13.99, looks like an interesting book about why the “Theory” of Evolution isn’t as scientific as many scientists what you to believe. They also have The Bible: An Authentic Book from the Best of British Bible and Science Conference DVD series on sale for $9.99 and many other items.

We welcome your feedback. If you ever want to recommend any item included in a sale we highlight or know of any other good sales on Bibles or related materials please share in the comments.
