Bible Deals August 30, 2019

Here is a list of some of the Bible Deals we found for this weekend August 30th through September 1st.

We are affiliates of many (but not all) of the stores listed and this post does contain affiliate links. Use of these links does not change your price but does mean we get a small portion of the sale to support Bible Buying Guide.

Logos

Logos is running a Flash sale now through September 3rd. The Word Biblical Commentary, regularly $1199.99, is on sale for $399.99. This is over 28,000 pages of commentary from some of today’s leading Biblical scholars. 61 books and by buying a Logos edition you have the advantage of it being searchable and integrated into the Logos Passage Guide.

Don’t forget you only have a couple more days to get August’s free book of the month or to take advantage of any of the August Monthly Sales as well.

If you are new to Logos or looking for a different way to expand your library check out all the Logos 8 packages. Now through September 20th  you can get 20% percent off by using the BIBLEGUIDE8 coupon code.

Christian Book

Christian Book is having a huge Labor Day Sale now through September 4th. Books, Gifts, Kids Items and more are on sale at up to 90% off.

The Bible section of the sale is, of course, our favorite. They have several on sale including the Hardcover ESV Study Bible (our review of the TruTone Edition here) for $24.99 and  NKJV, Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible for $28.49 (our review of the NIV here).

If you have kids (or need to buy gifts for some) you might also want to check out the Melissa & Doug Arts and Crafts items currently on sale for 20% off.

There is also a Scoop up the Savings Sale going on now until September 2nd where everything is $5 including a few Bibles. 5 different covers of the ESV Compact Bible are included along with theHolman Illustrated Bible Handbook.

A Back to Homeschool Event that includes 20% of select Alpha Omega products, 35% off select Spectrum Workbooks, and 40% off select Story of the World curriculum (a personal favorite of mine) will run through September 4th.

The Reference & Academic Sale has been extended through September 5th.

Church Source

Church Source is having a Thinline Bible Sale that ends tomorrow (August 31st). Select Thinline Bibles are 50 % off. They range from $7.50 to $10.00 and there are NKJV, KJV, and NIV  Bibles in a variety of covers to choose from. We’ve reviewed an NKJV Large Print Bible and a KJV Large Print from the Thinline series.

They are also running an End of Summer Clearance Sale. No specific end date has been posted but it is while supplies last. This sale includes a wide variety of books including a couple of interesting looking devotionals and several Christian living and inspirational books. A handful of Bibles are in this sale including the Hardcover NKJV Ancient-Modern Bible (our review here) for $17.50 and the NIV Red & Gray Cloth over Board Journal the Word Bible  (our review of the NKJV version here) for $15.75.

Dayspring

Dayspring has made their End of Summer Savings Event even better. If you use the coupon code EXTRA25 you get an additional 25% off all discounted merchandise that is part of the End of Summer Sale. This includes all Illustrated Faith sale merchandise, the $5 journals, boxed card bundles, and many other great gift items.

The coupon is good through September 3rd but items are starting to sell out so you won’t want to wait if there is a specific item you are looking for.

The CSB (in)courage Devotional Bible (our review here) is still on sale but the coupon code does not apply to it. I didn’t find it by clicking on one of the 10 End of Summer Sale division buttons so its part of a different sale.

We welcome your feedback. If you ever want to recommend any item included in a sale we highlight or know of any other good sales on Bibles or related materials please share in the comments.
