Quick Look – Crossway’s ESV Single Column Journaling Bible in Large Print
I spent a day in Cedar Springs Christian Bookstore in Knoxville, TN secretly filming reviews and taking pictures of Bibles. This isn’t as detailed as my standard reviews, and some of the photos and videos are blurry, but maybe there’s enough information here to help you decide if this Bible is for you.
The large print edition of Crossway’s Single Column Journaling Bible has around a 9.5-point font which is dark enough to read easily. This is a black letter edition. The overall size has the same footprint as a study Bible and the thickness is just slightly smaller than a study Bible. It seems to have the same paper as the regular edition, around 38gsm. It has 2″ outer margins with ruled lines. The cover is bonded leather Mocha. I loved the color and the grain. It doesn’t feel like cheap bonded leather.

I ordered this very Bible from Christian Book Distributors Wed. March 7, 2018. It should arrive any day now. I can hardly wait. I really like how the ESV reads. I love the word-for-word translation. It’s accuracy is right up there with the 1901 ASV.
