TBS Royal Ruby Text Bible Review

Even though there are have been variations in features, many publishers have had a KJV Ruby. And for good reason – it’s a small handy size with a sharp readable font. The TBS Royal Ruby Text Bible is a text-only compact KJV that’s available in a wide range of bindings. I’m reviewing the black calfskin with zipper and thumb-index. It’s produced for TBS by Cambridge and includes the familiar TBS additions. Like other TBS editions that I’ve reviewed, it comes in a nice slip case.   _____________________________________ Buy from TBS _____________________________________ Features Text-only KJV Calfskin with zipper Opposing thumb...

TBS Hebrew and Greek Bible – Review

The TBS Hebrew and Greek Bible brings the Hebrew and Greek Old and New Testaments together into one volume, providing an easy to handle edition of the underlying texts of the KJV and other reformation-era translations. It’s a paragraph edition in a handy size with a few unique features that I want to see in a KJV. ISBN: 9781862281165 TBS provided this Bible free for review. I was not required to give a positive review – only an honest review. My opinions are my own. ____________________________________ Click here to buy: $26 from TBS Bibles ____________________________________ Binding The cover is black...

TBS Slimline Pocket New Testament KJV Review

The TBS Slimline Pocket New Testament is one of those checkbook style Bibles that’s made to carry in your coat pocket or purse. Although it’s only a New Testament, this edition is by far my favorite in this format. It has a feature that I’d love to see become more popular in KJV’s: single column paragraph. Features KJV New Testament Checkbook format Burgundy Vivella cover Sewn Single-column paragraph 7 point font Black letter Section headings Bible Word List Daily Reading Plan Burgundy ribbon ISBN: 9781862283640 Model: 65E/TR (Burgundy) Printed in Great Britain from Eyre & Spottiswoode $12 __________________________ Buy...

TBS Compact Westminster KJV – Review

The Westminster was the first, and one of the very few, Bibles that my wife loved so much that she claimed it before I could even see it. There’s a good reason for that – updated words in the margins, 200,000 cross references, elegant setting, etc. The Westminster KJV Reference Bible has been made into a compact edition (33% smaller in overall footprint). Lately I’ve used smaller Bibles and this one fits the bill just right. My wife isn’t getting this one. This one is mine. The Compact Westminster was made with missionaries in mind. Those who need to...

TBS Large Print Bible Review

The TBS Large Print Bible is a text-only KJV made for those that prefer or require an extra-large type. The goal is to present a large type in a volume with a reasonable overall size. Rather than being a thick Bible it has a thin spine when compared to its large footprint, creating a Bible that lays almost completely flat when opened to just about any page. Having such a large footprint, its size does limit its uses… but it suits a couple of uses really well… Features KJV 5 black letter font Text only Vinyl cover Sewn 34gsm...
