Thomas Nelson’s King James Study Bible has been a popular study Bible for many years, and during that time it’s has gone through several revisions. The latest edition is the prettiest yet – it’s now been updated and produced in full-color. In this review I take a look at this newest edition in black genuine leather, ISBN: 9780718079895 Thomas Nelson provided this Bible free for review. I was not required to give a positive review – only an honest review. My opinions are my own. _________________________ Buy from (includes some affiliate links) Amazon Barnes & Noble and many local Bible bookstores _________________________ BINDING This...Read More

Unlike the common study Bible which provides commentary on the text, cross references, articles, and other study helps, Thomas Nelson’s KJV Word Study Bible is a study Bible that focuses on word studies of the original languages. Almost every page includes a word study that’s keyed to Strong’s dictionary. ISBN: 9780718085230 Thomas Nelson provided this Bible free for review. One of the most common complaints I’ve heard about journal Bibles is the small print. Most seem to be around 7-7.5 point, which can be difficult for middle-aged eyes like mine. As its name implies, this is a large print journal edition that many will find more comfortable to read and use. Thomas Nelson provided this Bible free for review. They’ve worked with 2K/Denmark to design three new typefaces: one for the KJV, one for the NKJV, and one for the NIV. In this review I’m taking a look at the new font in the large print thinline KJV in three...Read More
Thomas Nelson recently released a redesigned full-color version of their best selling NKJV Women’s Study Bible. With contributions from over 80 women (of various ethnic, denominational, and occupational backgrounds) and edited by Dorothy Kelley Patterson and Rhonda Kelley they hope this bible will help “women of all ages experience the renewal, hope, and transformation that only God’s Word can bring”. COVER & BINDING This Bible has a sewn binding. The edition I have is the hardcover but it is also available in pink/pink floral cloth over board edition (with or without thumb indexing) and a brown & burgundy imitation...Read More
