TBS Large Print Bible Review

The TBS Large Print Bible is a text-only KJV made for those that prefer or require an extra-large type. The goal is to present a large type in a volume with a reasonable overall size. Rather than being a thick Bible it has a thin spine when compared to its large footprint, creating a Bible that lays almost completely flat when opened to just about any page. Having such a large footprint, its size does limit its uses… but it suits a couple of uses really well… Features KJV 5 black letter font Text only Vinyl cover Sewn 34gsm...

Great news for anyone buying the Compact Westminster! The shipment is now past customs and on American soil. They are expected in Chicago by the end of this week and should be ready to ship early next week. If ordered within the next two weeks you should have your order by December 24th. Zondervan KJV Giant Print Personal Size Reference Bible – Review

Zondervan’s KJV Giant Print Personal Size Reference Bible is an inexpensive Bible (the one I’m reviewing is $14.99) that provides a highly readable text in a sewn binding. It’s available in imitation and bonded leather. The edition I’m reviewing is black imitation leather (Leather Look), ISBN: 9780310931911. ___________________ Buy from Amazon ___________________ Binding The cover is called Leather Look imitation leather. I think it’s actually plastic. It’s a single sheet of plastic with the end-page glued directly to it, there’s nothing folding over the end pages. The edges of the cover are the edges of the plastic. The liner...

Quick Look – Hendrickson KJV Expressions Bible

Another beautiful journaling Bible with red letter arrived today, the Hendrickson KJV Expressions Bible. Besides this brown embossed (debossed?) hardcover it is also available in plain black or red, yellow, and teal print. It has a double column, paragraph format and 2″ lined margins. It includes a harmony of the gospels and a few other scripture lists in the back. The red lettering is a dark rich red and it has an 8 point font. The paper seems to be the standard journaling Bible paper that should be sturdy enough for most applications. I’m looking forward to working with...

Cambridge Transetto KJV Bible – Review

The Cambridge Transetto is an ultra-portable KJV with a unique design. It’s meant to be the ultimate balance between portability and readability. I reviewed this Bible when it released in 2011 but my wife claimed it because it’s so portable. At this year’s ICRS the Cambridge crew was kind enough to give me another one. Now that I have it in my hands again I wanted to write a new review. What is a Transetto? In this Bible the book-block is turned 90 degrees. What would normally be the left and right are the top and bottom. Due to...
