Henrickson’s latest KJV Super Giant Print Reference Bible was designed for the pulpit and for those that prefer giant print for daily reading. It has a few features, such as indented poetry, that makes it stand apart from the crowd of KJV layout design. I’m reviewing the imitation leather edition. ISBN: 9781619709690 Hendrickson provided this Bible free for review. I was not required to give a positive review – only an honest review. My opinions are my own. ____________________ Buy from (includes some affiliate links) Amazon Books-A- Million Barnes & Noble and many local Bible bookstores ____________________ BINDING The cover is...Read More

The large or giant print KJV with center column references is a standard in Bible publishing. Practically every KJV publisher has one including Zondervan. In this Bible review I take a look at Zondervan’s low-priced Giant Print Reference Bible (ISBN 9780310931720) in burgundy bonded leather. The suggested retail price is $17.99. It can often be found for much less. Even though it’s a low-priced Bible it has a lot to offer. ______________________________ Buy from Amazon ______________________________ Binding The cover is burgundy bonded leather with a paper liner and a glued binding. This is not the kind of cover that...Read More
Zondervan’s KJV Giant Print Personal Size Reference Bible is an inexpensive Bible (the one I’m reviewing is $14.99) that provides a highly readable text in a sewn binding. It’s available in imitation and bonded leather. The edition I’m reviewing is black imitation leather (Leather Look), ISBN: 9780310931911. ___________________ Buy from Amazon ___________________ Binding The cover is called Leather Look imitation leather. I think it’s actually plastic. It’s a single sheet of plastic with the end-page glued directly to it, there’s nothing folding over the end pages. The edges of the cover are the edges of the plastic. The liner...Read More
Baker’s KJV Personal Size Giant Print Reference Bible Hardcover has a lot of features in a handy size. It seeks to offer a combination of giant print along with features typically found in reference Bibles. Is has a few twists that I think set it apart and make it an excellent Bible for reading, carry, and preaching. I’m reviewing the hard cover edition. Photography by hannah C brown Binding This edition is hard cover. The cover itself contains the product info, so there’s no dust jacket. The construction feels well-made. It has a sewn binding and has no issues...Read More
Personal size giant print Bibles are great for those of us with older eyes that don’t want to carry our Bibles around in a wheelbarrow. The problem is there’s a tradeoff between tools and font size. Publishers have to include fewer tools, but the question is what tools are helpful? This is where the Hendrickson edition shines. In this review I take a look at Hendrickson’s Personal Size Giant Print Reference Bible in KJV. Note – this is the personal size edition that’s the companion to the wide margin edition. Binding The cover is two-tone Flexisoft – a polyurethane...Read More
