Pre-release Glo Bible Available for Android

The Pre-release edition of Glo Bible is available for Android in the Google Play store. It comes with the ESV and has a clean interface. Each book has a painting that’s displayed with parallax scroll. My favorite feature is Reading Mode. This turns off all verse numbers and reference and footnote keys, giving you a clean text with chapter numbers. You can also toggle red/black letter, choose your fonts and sizes, and choose a background color. It also includes reading plans, notes, highlighting, bookmarks, audio, the Jamieson, Fausset and Brown Commentary, sermons, and sample images, maps, and videos. You...

It contains features aimed toward that age-group, but still has quality features such as Smyth sewn, opaque paper, and consistent print. This Bible has a lot going for it. Even though it’s a children’s Bible, it’s not a childish Bible. I think this Bible works well beyond that age-group. Opening the Bible you’re faced with the ESV text in double-column paragraph format. It looks grown-up. It has around a 9.5-point font that’s a medium to dark boldness. It has blue section headings, green chapter numbers, and a...
